I have always been a fan of the F-106A Delta Dart.  This model was designed to be equally at home indoors (hi alpha and slow) or outside performing like a jet.  It is extremely maneuverable with the rudder surprisingly effective.  You will need a radio that has Delta Mixing (sometimes called elevon mixing) for the elevons.
